Renault Duster is almost half the price of Yeti and recent success taster Ford Eco sport is at Rs. 10 lakh approx. Price is too high among its competitors which certainly will hamper the Skoda’s cause.

Skoda Yeti 2014 contains basic layout display when we talk of the interiors of it, though it has some areas glamorized with two tone wooden trim. But the central console looks great with all black scheme, most important thing is there are some add-ons which were missing in earlier version of Yeti. Yeti gets Skoda infotainment system with 6.5 inch LCD screen and MFD (multi function display).

Driver seat adjustment with memory function, leather packed steering wheel is firm to hold and easy to move. Seats are comfortable and support you at right places to keep your journey long and smooth.

Previous Yeti’s design is peculiar but in a good way. But 2014 Yeti design is a typical Skoda design which is sharp, front gets new aggressive Xenon headlamps with daytime running LED’s and split rectangular shaped fog lamps. Side of the car remains same like the previous Yeti but getting new 16” alloy wheels. Rear side looks good as well with new tail lights with C shape and rear bumpers with false diffusers and reflectors look stunning. 2014 Yeti’s Design is certainly better than the previous Yeti.

Colors:

Outrageous Yeti 2014 arrives in seven elegant colors which are Mato brown, aqua mist, candy white, brilliant silver, lava blue, magic black and cappuccino beige, with three roof color options (white, black or silver).

It carries one special feature that cut down the fuel supply during crash and protective cover for engine and under carriage.

Carzoom Take:

New yeti is better than the previous one Skoda has not cut down any features instead they added some of the new features like Cruise control, touchscreen infotainment system, keyless entry, tyre monitoring system and Xenon headlights which is commendable. Base variant of yeti gets vanished this time around and price is way too high as well. Skoda has to reconsider it if they want to grab a big market share.
