The brand which provides super luxury models to its lovers is ready to surprise them again by launching the refined version of popular Ghost series and named it as Ghost Series II, here II stands for that delicate tweaks and upgrades which have been done in this new yet to be launched model. The Ghost Series II will also be available in extended wheelbase variant.
The British car manufacturer has recently unveiled this luxury piece in recently held Geneva Motor Show and now planning to launch it officially in UK by mid-2014 and then later in India by November of this year.
It wouldn’t be wrong to say that brands like Rolls Royce have become synonymous of super luxuriant which is available only for lot of money holder. It is also said that customers don’t choose a Rolls Royce but the Rolls Royce choose its customers, attitude haan!!!
Well, the attitude holder Ghost Series II didn’t remove the curtain from its price yet but the last launched model in India by this brand carries the whooping price tag of 5.2 Crore, so we can guess the approx price range of this new No Ordinary Model.
There are not any major changes in it’s under hood. It will run on the same 6.6 liter twin-turbo V12 engine like its predecessor which is responsible to develop an amazing max power of 563bhp and peak torque of 780Nm. The upgraded Ghost Series II is a great combination of sportiness and luxury which seems like flying when riding. It is said to accelerate 0-100 km/h in impressive 4.7 seconds with the top speed of 250 km/h.
The transmission of Ghost Series II has been updated by pairing it up to the satellite system. Now, transmission will be able to pre-choose gears as per the type of road ahead. Company has already introduced this transmission technology in ongoing model Wraith.
Interior & Exterior:
Though, the exact details of refined features at interior as well as exterior have not been revealed by the company yet. But as per the model unveiled at Geneva Motor show, it seems to have a two-tone theme at the outside which is increasing its beauty even more than ever. Other than this, it gets refreshed bumpers, new LED headlights, re-carved hood and chrome accents etc which are complementing its stunning exterior profile.
