Mercedes Benz launched the facelift 2014 edition of its stylish four door coupe CLS 350 in India on July 2nd, 2014. While there is no change in its mechanical terms, the exterior & interior profiles have been tweaked to give it a new refresh look. The price of 2014 edition has also been dropped to hike its sales. Let’s have a look.
While the ongoing model was carrying the tag of around 1.2 crores, this new updated CLS 350 is available at just 89.9 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
As mentioned above, there are no changes in its mechanical front. It will be continuing power by same 3498cc, 3.5 liter V6 petrol engine like the predecessor and responsible to develop the max power of 302bhp and peak torque of 370Nm. The transmission mated to this model is a 7G-TRONIC Plus automatic gearbox. Further, Mercedes claims the car to accelerate 0-100 km/h in mere 6.1 seconds with 250 km/h of an electronically limited top speed.
Space & Dimension:
The updated CLS 350 carries the length of 4940mm, width of 1881mm and height of 1416mm. The wheelbase it gets is of 2874mm while the car boot is of 520 liters.
Interior & Exterior:
The new CLS 350 is now featuring a Harman Kardon Logic 7 surround sound system along with 14 speakers, a subwoofer and a 9 channel amplifier. Additionally, a multifunctional steering with gear shift paddles, sliding sunroof and ambient light having three modes of settings- Neutral, Solar and Polar are also marking their presence in this updated model. Also, it gets Active Park Assist along with parking sensors and camera, Airmatic suspension etc in it.
At outside, it gets new Diamond Silver color like the ongoing model. The CLS sports a new 18 inch alloy wheel with 15 spoke design and also new modified LED tail lamps.
