Maruti Suzuki India has silently launched Refreshed Swift Dzire in the Indian market in the price range of Rs. 5.07-7.81 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).  Maruti Suzuki Dzire has been a bestselling compact sedan in the Indian market since 2008 and it is India’s second bestselling vehicle. New Dzire launched with 8 variants 5 petrol including AT and 3 diesel variants, new Dzire sports an array of cosmetic changes and some added features. New Dzire Engines have been tuned for better efficiency and it is introduced in some new colors as well.

Price:

Maruti Suzuki Refreshed Dzire is priced from Rs. 5.07 lakh-7.81 lakh. Petrol variants of new Dzire range from Rs. 5.07-6.80 lakh while the diesel variants of new Dzire start at Rs. 5.99 lakh and goes up to Rs. 7.81 lakh. All the prices are ex-showroom Delhi.

Engine Details:

According to India’s largest car manufacturer, Maruti engines of new Dzire have been tuned for better efficiency and to reduce roughness. Underneath the updated body new Dzire is powered by same set of engines- 1.3L DDis diesel and 1.2L K-series petrol engines. Petrol engine churns out 83.2bhp power@6000rpm and 115Nm torque@4000rpm while 1248cc Diesel engine returns 74bhp power@4000rpm and 190Nm of peak torque@2000rpm. Both the engines are coupled to a 5 speed manual gearbox while a 4-speed automatic transmission is also on offer with petro trim. New Dzire is now India’s most fuel efficient car dethroning Maruti Ciaz, Dzire diesel now returns 26.59 KPL mileage sees an improvement of 13 percent while petrol variants would return great mileage of 20.85 KPL which is now 9 percent more fuel efficient.

Space and Dimensions:

Swift Dzire compact sedan offers seating capacity for five persons with 3995mm length, 1695mm width and 1555mm height. New Sift Dzire carries wheel base and ground clearance of 2430mm and 170mm respectively. It also carries a sufficient luggage space of 340 liters.

Exterior and Interior:

As we already told you new Dzire comes with many cosmetic changes like new single slat front chrome grille like Honda Amaze, revised bumper with new smoked headlamps, chrome insert on bezel fog lamps, revised body colors ORVMs with turn indicators, new 10 spoke alloy wheels. Side profile of new Dzire remains same while rear side gets minimal changes like reverse parking sensors, slightly tweaked bumper. Despite of these changes new Dzire still looks similar to the phased out model. On the inside new Dzire gets same features as seen in the Swift hatchback like engine start/stop button, rear power socket, new fabric upholstery, audio and bluetooth control for steering wheel, reverse parking sensors, six speaker updated music system with bluetooth connectivity, electric folding wing mirrors and smart key access. Dual tone dashboard has been retained in new Dzire compact sedan.

Colors:

Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire is available in seven color shades- Pearl Arctic white, Silky Silver, Cave black, Pacific Blue, Magma Grey, Alp Blue and Sangria Red. Out of these seven colors Cave Black, Alp Blue, Magma Grey and Sangria Red are new colors.

Safety:

Safety Wise New Dzire is equipped with Driver and front passenger airbags (only for top Zxi/Zdi variants), Anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake force distribution (EBD), 3 point front ELR seat belts with shoulder height adjuster, centre door lock, rear child door locks, hood sensing, security alarm door system, speed sensing auto door lock, engine immobilizer and reverse parking sensors. While the compact combustion chamber and higher compression ratio on gasoline engine helps to improve engine efficiency, the advanced thermal management system in diesel engine along with low friction engine oil and modified fuel injection system help diesel engine in faster warm up and lower frictional losses.”
