BMW 3-Series Facelift Front

The German carmaker has kicked off the New Year with the launch of 3-series facelift in India. The new model arrives with the diesel power-trains while petrol variants will be added later on this year. The new BMW 3-series will be manufactured at company’s Chennai plant and it is available at all BMW dealerships across the country. The BMW has had a quite 2015 and remained at the last spot among the trio of Mercedes-Benz, Audi.

Price:

The facelift BMW 3-series is available in four variants- Prestige, Sport Line, Luxury Line and M Sport and prices range from Rs. 35.90 lakhs to Rs. 44.50 lakhs (ex-showroom Pan India).

Engine Details:

The BMW 3-series houses a 2.0 liter diesel mill that delivers 190bhp of max power and 400Nm of peak torque, matched to an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox with paddle shifters as standard. With this powerful engine, the new model can hit 0-100km/hr in just 7.2 seconds before hitting the top speed of 230km/hr.

Color:

The facelifted BMW 3 series is available with a choice of both metallic and non metallic color shades. Black sapphire, Mediterranean blue, platinum silver, Estoril blue, Jatoba, imperial blue brilliant effect are the metallic ones while Alpine white is the only offering in non-metallic segment.

Exterior and interior:

On the design aspect new model is moreover same as the previous one save for the new LED headlight cluster, new stylish 17 inch alloy wheels and refreshed LED tail lamps. The cabin gets all new 8.8 inch BMW iDrive head up display with BMW connect drive BMW apps, 3D graphics and navigation to up the premium quotient.

Electric front seats, park distance control (PDC), multi function steering wheel with red contrast stitching, Radio BMW professional are some of the other highlighting features on the new BMW 3 series. The top spec M sport is endowed with M package which include front sports seats, driving experience control with Sport+ mode, M steering wheel, new leather upholstery with chrome accents.

Safety:

To match the ultra luxurious cabin and elegant design, the 3-series sedan comes with range of safety features such as six airbags with intelligent airbag system, electronic stability program (ESP), brake assist, ABS with EBD, traction control system (TCS), hill hold control, engine immobilizer, rigid high protection system, cornering brake control, run flat indicator, side impact beams and much more.
