2015 is here and with that various car makers are gearing up to launch their new products in the market, so due to that effect various news regarding new launches have already started trickling in. In January there are number of cars which will be launching like Datsun Go+ on 15th January, Tata bolt on 20th January, Mercedes CLA on 22nd January 2015.

In February 2015 Korean car maker Hyundai will launch its first car of 2015 i.e. Verna facelift which has been spotted many times on Indian roads. Verna was a segment dominator till Honda City dethroned it from the top segment with its refined performance, looks and overall satisfaction.

C2 segment is the most competitive segment in the industry with cars like City, Vento, Rapid, and new born baby Ciaz.

New Verna will feature some cosmetic changes like new dual slat front grille, new fog lamps with LED strips, redesigned front bumper, new projector headlamps, new alloy wheels etc. Cabin design will remain almost same but Hyundai might offer a new touchscreen infotainment system and some additional safety in the form more airbags.

New Verna will continue to get power from 1.4L and 1.6L petrol and diesel engines like the current model. Hyundai might replace 4AT with new 6 speed automatic transmission plus some diesel might get some performance tweaks.

Price will remain moreover same in 7.5-11 lakh and it will take on Honda city, Maruti Ciaz, Volkswagen Vento etc when launched. In current Verna is on third spot after Honda city and Ciaz but Verna facelift might help Hyundai to regain the lost spot and will take the good momentum of 2014 in this year as well.

Hyundai had a splendid 2014 with record 4.10 lakh sales highest market share of 21.6% till date and Hyundai Elite i20 getting car of the year award. In 2015 Hyundai eyeing number of launches like in crossover segment with i20 cross, in compact SUV segment with ix25.
