Maruti Suzuki has achieved yet another remarkable milestone after they rolled out the 15 millionth car, which was a Swift Dzire VDi sedan (chassis no. MA3FJEB1S00740865) from company’s Manesar facility and becomes the only manufacture to do so. For India’s largest car maker it took to 31 years and 5 months to achieve the milestone. Maruti Suzuki sold their first ever car Maruti 800 in December 1983 and achieved 1 millionth car feat in 1995, In April 2005 Maruti Sold their 5 millionth car followed by 10 millionth car in March 2011 and now 2015 witnessed the accomplishment of 15 millionth vehicle which makes MSIL the only Indian car brand to do so.

Maruti Suzuki has reached 15 million mark from 10 million in just 4 years and 2 months which is tremendous achievement. Now Maruti is eyeing 20 million vehicles goal while their midterm goal is to sell 2 million units per annum by 2020. In FY 2014-15, the company sold 12.92 million vehicle, posted their highest ever sales in a single year.

Maruti Suzuki has been the most favorite and trusted brand in India and showed continuous improvement since its inception. The company is growing at the rate of knots and fulfilling customer’s needs and preferences in a well-organized way. Our people on the shop floor make enormous contribution so that we can offer more and better to our customers, and fulfill their needs and aspirations”.

Maruti is currently expanding its product line up and entering into new segments as well, company has major launches lined up for 2015 like they will launch Celerio diesel, followed by Ertiga facelift and SX4 S cross aka A cross in the coming months.
