Lamborghini Aventador S launched in India at Rs 5.01 Crore

Almost 6 years after its icon run, Lamborghini Aventador has received a mid cycle update in the form of Aventador S, similar to Apple iPhone. The Italian supercar maker has launched Aventador S at Rs. 5.01 crore (ex-showroom Pan India). For instance, Aventador looks more sculpted and sports more aerodynamic front and rear. The S moniker is the 2nd launch for Lamborghini in India this year after Huracan RWD last month.

Under the hood is a familiar 6.5l V12 petrol engine which rates to deliver 740PS power@8400rpm and peak torque of 690Nm@5500rpm. Power is sent to all wheels via 7-speed ISR automatic gearbox. The supercar is capable of 0-100km/hr sprint in just 2.9 seconds before hitting the top speed of 350km/hr. Lamborghini has made some mechanical changes like an updated suspension set up, four wheel steering system and four drive modes– Strada, Sport, Corsa and EGO.

Cosmetic updates include a new bumper with larger air dam claimed to develop around 130 percent downforce while gets larger diffuser and new rear wing. The interiors also aren’t different from the standard model such as fighter jet inspired cockpit. However the analogue dials has been replaced by TFT digital instrument cluster along with Apple car play and Lamborghini telemetry. In addition, you can personalize Aventador S via Lamborghini’s personalization division with tonnes of options.
