Mercedes-Benz has launched the Maybach S650 in India and showcased the new All-Terrain E Class at the ongoing Auto Expo 2018. The Maybach S650 will be the first car from Mercedes to get a Bharat Stage VI engine and will be made in India.
Exterior & Interior
The S650 has 20-inch alloy wheels and features a slightly updated front end with a revised bumper and larger air dams. Both the front and rear bumpers features are layered with chrome to add luxury feel to the car. It has multibeam LED headlights, tail lights, magic body control, magic sky control, and a crystal-design tail lamp.
The interior comprises of a three-spoke steering wheel with ambient LED lighting in multiple colours, dual 12.3-inch high-resolution displays in a single glass panel and new wooden trim options. It includes, Exclusive Nappa Leather Upholstery, Designo Black Piano Lacquer Trim, Dual Tone Dashboard, Ventilated Seats and The Touch Control Buttons on the steering wheel allowing drivers to operate multimedia system without any distraction.
Engine Details
The S650 is powered by a new bi-turbo 6.0-litre V12 engine that generates an output of 463 kW (630 hp) and 1000 Nm Torque. With this engine it sprints to 100kph in just 4.6 seconds with an electronically limited speed of 250kmph.
Safety
For safety, the S 650 has 9 airbags, active suspension, adaptive braking with torque converting brakes, attention assist, parking assist and blind spot assist. Other amazing feature for safety include active brake assist, steering assist, radar-based active cruise control and a surround view system which has four cameras one on each side to give a view of the immediate surroundings of the car.
