Hyundai Creta prices to start from Rs. 9 lakh; garners over 10,000 pre-bookings

Hyundai Creta is making headlines everyday ever since last month and surprises us every single time with new thing. On 21st July 2015 a new success story might be written in Hyundai’s fairy tale story in India. With the craze in full swing, Hyundai has received an overwhelming response for Creta from the buyers as the company has announced that the compact SUV has collected over 10,000 bookings and 28,500 enquiries.

Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Hyundai Motor India expressed, “We are delighted to receive an overwhelming response with over 28,500 enquiries and 10,000 customers showing their interest to live the Creta life. We thank the customers for their strong belief in Hyundai brand and assure them of our commitment towards meeting their high aspirations on world class quality products.”

Besides its magical advance booking numbers there is another interesting story that revolves around Creta nowadays and that’s the pricing reports. Earlier there were rumors that Hyundai might price it competitively to eat market share of Ford EcoSport and crack the compact SUV/ crossover market. Around 1600 units have already been dispatched to dealers prior to launch.

Now report suggests that its pricing could a tough fight to Renault duster and even Mahindra Scorpio. Although, it’s might not be the official or final price of Creta but expect it to be price somewhere near to this. Here are the ex-showroom Delhi prices for Hyundai Creta:-

Hyundai Creta Petrol-

  • 1.6 base- Rs. 8.9 lakh
  • 1.6 Sx- Rs. 9.9 lakh
  • 1.6 Sx+- Rs. 11.6 lakh

Hyundai Creta Diesel- (1.4L)

  • 1.4L base- Rs. 9.8 lakh
  • 1.4 S- Rs. 10.9 lakh
  • 1.4 S+- Rs. 11.8 lakh

Hyundai Creta Diesel- (1.6L)

  • 1.6 SX– Rs. 12.2 lakh
  • 1.6 SX+ – Rs. 13.4 lakh
  • 1.6 SX(O)- Rs. 14.4 lakh
  • 1.6 SX+ (AT)- Rs. 14.3 lakh
