Honda City gets a new VX (O) BL variant and optional all black interiors

Honda Cars India has given a mild update to City sedan as it launches a new VX (O) BL variant with all black interiors and upholstery and also it gets dual airbags, ABS with EBD as standard across all variants. The new trim is placed alongside the VX (O) with manual transmission (both diesel and petrol) in alabaster silver and white orchid color shades. Since the introduction of 4th Gen City in January 2014, the company has sold over 1.6 lakh units.

The new City is priced at Rs. 7.71-11.94 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and available with a 1.5l i-VTEC petrol engine that delivers 117bhp power and 145Nm of torque, paired to a 5-speed manual and 7-speed CVT gearbox. On the contrary, 1.5l i-DTEC diesel mill belts out max power of 99bhp and 200Nm torque, paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. The City diesel is one of the fuel efficient cars in India with the mileage of 26KMPL while the petrol delivers 17.8kmpl of mileage.

In terms of features, the new trim is identical to VX (O) variant and carries features like automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, cruise control, 7 inch touchscreen AVN infotainment system, steering mounted controls, reverse camera, push start button, keyless entry and much more. In addition, Honda now offers standard top tether anchor for child seats and rear ISOFIX in the sedan.
