Amaze is available in both petrol and diesel engines. The dimensions are 3990mm x 1680 mm x1505 mm with wheelbase 2405 mm for both types of engines. While for the petrol version the engine is 4 cylinders SOHC i-VTEC with displacement 1198 cc whereas for the diesel type the engine is 4 cylinders DOHC i-DTEC with displacement greater by 300 cc. When it is the brand ‘Honda’ engine power (ps@rpm) is one thing you can blindly trust, for petrol car it is 88@6000 while it is 100@3600 for diesel car. Considering the torque (Nm@rpm) for petrol engine, Amaze has same torque as its companion Brio i.e. 109@4500, but diesel engine Amaze has 200@1750.

Now, when it comes to fuel efficiency, diesel always has an edge over petrol, for the AT model (petrol) it is 15.5 km/l, MT model (petrol) it’s 18km/l while MT model (diesel) it is 25.8km/l, and that is the reason why diesel cars are costlier than petrol ones, however the fuel tank capacity is 35l for both (falls short by 7 litres from DZire). Amaze has an edge over Brio, its elder brother and rival Maruti’s Dzire in terms of mileage/fuel efficiency (considering diesel engine) which have 19.4, 23.4 km/l mileage respectively. Being a sedan class car it provides seating capacity for 5 persons with 400l boot space. The Brake system used is disc and drum at front and rear respectively for both engine types. With collapsible electric power steering and Min turning radius 4.5m (for MT petrol, diesel) and 4.7m (for AT petrol), Honda Amaze is bound to amaze you!

Features:-  Amaze comes in 6 different versions E, EX, S, S AT, VX & VX AT. The higher versions of the car are deployed with stylish Alloy wheels and other special features like front fog lamps and turn indicator on ORVMs. While the bold Front Crome grill add to the grace, the sharp edges and the character lines that run along the body  makes it aerodynamic and prevents drag. All the versions possess a decent Air conditioner with heater, front and rear power windows, tilt steering, central locking, headlight adjuster etc. features along with the most talked about Eco Lamp to make your drive economical. The higher versions have the advantage of driver seat height adjuster, rear defogger, electronically foldable ORVMs and accessory socket.
