Ferrari officially re-enters India; launches California T at Rs. 3.45 crores

Ferrari the Italian Supercar maker has officially made its comeback into Indian market by launching its popular convertible- California T; priced at Rs. 3.45 Crore (ex-showroom) is the most affordable offering by Ferrari in India. The car maker is operating in India from its two dealerships established in Delhi (Mathura Road) and Mumbai (Navnit Motors) respectively. These two outlets will also lend after sales services to existing Ferrari owners in the country.

The second innings into Indian car market by Ferrari has been marked by the introduction of California T, powered by 3.9l V8 injection engine churns out max power of 552bhp@7500rpm with peak torque of 755Nm@4750rpm. The 7-speed dual clutch transmission propels car to reach 100km mark 3.6 seconds and 0-200 in just 11.6 seconds.

Design wise, the prancing horse updates California T with F12 berinetta like grille, fresh headlamps with LED strips, updated fenders, contemporary tail lights and most noticeable change come in the form the two horizontally quad exhaust pipes replacing the ageing vertical lines. Inside, Ferrari has retained the 2+2 concept while revising it with new features like updated 6.5 inch HD touchscreen system with advanced control button, turbo performance engineer (TPE) gauge and faux semi-anilne leather seats to offer premium-ness at its best.

The dealers have started accepting bookings for the car and according to sources, Ferrari’s this year stock has been already sold out, so dealers are accepting bookings for 2016 now.
