Build quality is supreme with an excellent paint quality accolade by fit and finish. New Elite i20 looks more mature than the older one with swept back headlamps with silver accents and unique diamond grille pattern while side profile of Elite i20 makes the overall profile sporty with long bonnet and sloping roofline. Rear side is the most eye-catching one with BMW inspired tail lights,

Tata has done a terrific job to make Bolt distinct from Vista and aggressive, front side looks identical to Zest sedan while overall frame chassis still reminds you of Vista. Starting from the front Bolt has muscular bonnet with V shape creases, Projector headlamps, fog lamps. Side profile of Bolt is clean and crease-free while sloping roofline with Blackened C pillars looks good. Rear side is quite unique from Tata’s other cars with flame shaped halogen headlamps and long chrome line on the boot lid.

In the interior segment Bolt is taking on one of the best feature rich car in the segment so it will face tough competition from Elite i20. Get inside the cabin of Bolt you will be surprise to see the stylish dashboard design which you may not found in Tata cars. The design of Dashboard is identical to Zest but Bolt gets Java black theme instead of beige scheme like Zest which goes well with interior color scheme. Fit and finish is good, quality wise it is as good as other cars of this segment but still cannot match Hyundai. Seats are comfortable but less cushy than the Zest especially the front seats.

When First GEN i20 was launched it was quite impressive and better than rival cars at that time. New Elite i20 has taken this too different level with its premiumness. Dual tone dashboard is more appealing than first Gen i20 and Bolt hatchback. Fit and finish and quality of materials used have always been Hyundai’s strength and Elite i20 justifies it.
