The German brand Volkswagen recently introduced the Vento sports in the Indian market. The car is positioned above the Highline plus variant. The car comes with a new sports wrap and a rear spoiler in the glossy black paint. The dual color of the car is its new unique identity and it looks very noticeable. Check out some other features too
The car has got some attractive changes including the faux carbon fiber finish to the outside mirrors, black stickers on doors, glossy black roof, 16 inches 10 spoke Portago alloy wheels and the lip spoiler which gives the car a dual tone exterior. The new variant features the LED headlamps and LED inserts in the tail lamps.
On the interior part, the equipment levels of Vento Sport are on par with the Highline plus trim. This means the car sports power adjustable and folding outside mirror, chrome touch in the cabin, faux leather seat, leather steering wheel and gearshift knob. Besides this, it features a touchscreen infotainment system and a rear parking camera.
The mid-size sedan car gets 105hp, 1.6-litre petrol mated to a five-speed manual, the 110hp, 1.5-litre diesel mated to a five-speed manual engine. There is also a.2-litre turbo-petrol 105hp mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic engine.Interestingly, Volkswagen has launched the new MQB platform in the global markets. As India is a price-sensitive market, the updated version of the PQ25 platform is still being used.
The company has launched Vento Sport at a starting price of Rs. 11.44 lakh, ex-showroom, India. The, diesel manual is priced at Rs. 12.92 lakh. The Petrol TSI automatic variant is priced at Rs. 12.79 lakh and the diesel-automatic is priced at Rs. 14.17 lakh.
