India’s second largest automobile manufacturer is all set to come with its Sonata facelift in India between mid-June to  August of 2018. The car possesses all the leading comforts and features. Read on to know more:

Engine Details

It is to come powered by a 2.0 Litre petrol engine connected to an electric motor and battery that provides a combined system power of 202bhp@6000rpm and torque of about 250Nm@4250rpm. It will come mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Hyundai car is expected to have fuel efficiency between 15-19 Kmpl.

Exterior Interior

The styling of the car is governed by Hyundai’s Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design philosophy. The car gets huge and stylish front grille with swept back headlamps. Its biggest attraction is the roofline that merges into the boot. The side profile is neat and the body line flows along perfectly. At the back too, the car gets beautifully designed tail-lamps. The Sonata Facelift measures 4855 mm in length, 1865 mm in width and has 1480 mm height with 2805 mm wheelbase.

The dashboard has good fit and finishes. The centre console of the car comes with a neatly integrated touchscreen infotainment system. The leather-wrapped seats are comfortable for long journeys while the front seats are electrically adjustable. The boot too is large enough for luggage. The important features in the car are Memory function for driver’s seat, Auto-dimming Rear View Mirror, Keyless Entry, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, Infinity premium audio system, 8-inch touchscreen navigation etc.

Safety

On the safety front, it comes loaded with features like 6 airbags, ABS with Electronic Brake Force Distribution, Blind Spot Detection, Rearview Camera, Vehicle Stability Management, Traction Control, and Brake Assist.

Upon its launch, the Hyundai car will be competing against the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord etc.
