BMW to launch M4 coupe in Indian market soon!

The German car manufacturer BMW has recently launched its M4 coupe in Malaysia market after making its debut at 2014 Detroit Motor Show. And now the reports are that BMW is all set to launch it in India too. The car has arrived to India and might hit the floor within1-2 months. Though, its launch has been confirmed by company on social networking sites like facebook and twitter etc but the exact launch date is yet to declare.

However, it is being said that M4 actually is a successor of company’s ongoing global model M3 but for some reason may be, BMW is presenting it with a new name plate called BMW M4. In India, this new model by BMW is said to be priced at 36.24 lakhs after its launch in country.

The coupe model will be equipped by a 3.0 liter 6-cylinder twin turbo engine which is responsible to develop the max power and peak torque of 431bhp @ 5500-7300rpm and 550Nm @ 1850-5500rpm, respectively. In India, the M4 will get only a 7-speed dual clutch auto gearbox and will accelerate 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds with the electronically top speed of 250 km/h.

As far as their features equipments are concerned, it will get features to justify its premium badge like leather upholstery, xenon headlights, heated front seats, rear parking distance control, adaptive LED headlights, LED indicators and much more.

As per the company, couple of new models to increase its M line up will be introduced in near future in India. Currently, BMW India has M5 sedan and M6 Gran Coupe as its ongoing model in this M-series.

Karim Habib, Head of Design at BMW Automobiles explains about the design, “Indeed, the exterior design has a visual impact that elevates the BMW M design language to a new level of expression, highlighted by a purposeful character, emotional appeal and dynamic verve.”
