Tata Tiago JTP and Tigor JTP performance

The Tata Tiago JTP and Tigor JTP have finally made their first public appearance at the Auto Expo. This JTP duo comes with enhancing features in addition to cosmetic embellishments. Tata Motors’ partnership with Jayem Automotives to develop performance variants has finally attained success by showcasing the newer variants this Auto Expo:

Exterior and Interior

The car’s exteriors feature new bumpers with large air dams and fog lights. Further, the Tiago and Tigor JTP variants get smoky projector headlamps, vents on bonnet and fenders, gets diamond-cut 15-inch alloy wheels, glossy black inserts, contrast roof, ORVM finishes and red JTP badge on the grille.

Interiors of both the cars have an all-black color theme. It also gets chic aluminium pedals and leather upholstery. This performance variant also possesses a touch-screen infotainment system with 8-speaker Harman audio system.

Engine Details

In terms of engine, there is an important performance update. It gets a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine which boasts a turbocharger same as in the Nexon. The cars motor is capable of producing 110 PS and 150 Nm of torque. The Tata’s sporty version also gets a 5-speed manual transmission to achieve better acceleration.
