eKUV 100

The Mahindra eKUV was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2018. This car is the electric version of the micro SUV. The all-electric KUV 100 will be the first SUV from Mahindra to be launched in India in an all-electric version. The car is expected to launch by the end of 2018 or early 2019. Here we have its updates:

Exterior and Interior

Visually, the Mahindra eKUV100 is much similar to the regular model. The interiors too are quite similar but with the gearshift stick missing, the six-seater layout makes a lot more sense in the EV version of the KUV100. For connectivity, the electric vehicle claims to be equipped with smartphone connectivity, cabin pre-cooling, remote diagnostics, as well as location tracking facility.

Engine Details

The engine has a 30KW motor and lithium-ion battery. The eKUV 100 claims a driving range of 140km on a single charge and also the car’s battery is capable of fast charging that gets the car charged to 80 percent in less than an hour. It is said that the KUV 100  could get an updated motor and battery pack upon launch.
