2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS Launched In India

The 2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS, the largest comfortable sedan has been launched in India by Maserati India. This new car has been updated in view of the 2018 model year with styling updates and some new features as well. This car was firstly showcased at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show and would be available in two trim options namely GranLusso and GranSport.

Those who opt for the GranLusso variant would get an additional front spoiler, chrome bumper inserts and body coloured side skirts. You also get new 20-inch Mercurio alloy wheels with black coloured brake callipers.

For those who opt for the GranSport trim, they get a sporty look with sculpted angles, aerodynamic splitters, exterior carbon package having ORVMs, door handles, B-pillar cover and front bumper facilities. The centre spoiler and the side inserts are finished in Striking Piano Black. Booking is open for this luxury sedan and is likely to compete against Porsche Panamera etc. The deliveries of the 2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS will be same in India as in the global market.

The price that this luxury car carries starts from Rs. 2.7 Crore INR.

Engine Details:

Under the hood, the 2018 Maserati Quattroporte is fitted to the GTS version and uses a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine which delivers 530 bhp flanked by 6500-6800 rpm, in company with 710 Nm of peak torque present between 2250 and 3500 rpm. This luxury sedan uses 8-speed ZF automatic transmission which incorporates power to the front wheels. This car can run at a speed of 100 kmph in 4.7 seconds and can take up a speed of 310 kmph. Its fuel consumption and emission are 10.7 litres/100 km and 250 g/km.

Exterior and Interior:

Looking inside, the car has gone with some major updates, as apart from the upholstery there are leather changes with the cabin as well having an 8.4-inch Maserati Touch Control Plus (MTC+) unit which is placed in the middle of the dashboard. It can be operated by a multi-touch screen, rotary control in the central console or even through voice commands. This touchscreen system provides Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity with phone mirroring options too.
