Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has been spotted many times on test run in the country albeit with and without Camouflage and it has been on the cards for while. Now, Suzuki Indonesia has revealed that the Ertiga facelift will be showcased on 20th August 2015 at GIIAS (Gaikindo Indonesia International auto show). Suzuki’s Indomobil MD also stated that the company would display about 27 cars including Ciaz and Ertiga facelift. We can expect Ertiga facelift to arrive on Indian shores soon after around September-October period.

The facelift Ertiga get some revisions to the design like a new three slate front chrome grille, restyled front bumper and chrome inserts around the circular fog lamps. Side profile will remain moreover same as current Gen model except for the new alloy wheels (wheel cap for the mid variants) and revised OVRMs with LED indicators to make it more premium.

Updates inside the cabin are expected to come in the form of automatic climate control, new upholstery, updated infotainment system, push start button, control for electronically retraceable outer rear view mirrors. Other features might be the reverse parking sensors, satellite navigation, voice recognition etc.

The 2015 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is expected to house same set of engines i.e. 1.4L petrol and 1.3L diesel engines. The former produces 94bhp power and 130Nm of torque while the other is rated to deliver 89bhp power and 200Nm of max torque.

According to reports, the company is also planning to introduce much bigger 1.6L diesel engine with facelifted Ertiga. The engine is good enough to deliver 112PS of max power. Maruti Suzuki might also boast better fuel figures, however rumors around suggesting that it might deliver 25.2 KMPL of mileage of diesel trim.

Reports also suggest that an AMT is also expected to be equipped with either of the engines but there is no concrete evidence or official confirmation yet. With these upgrades, Ertiga will be expecting to retain its good sales performance against Honda Mobilio and newly launched Renault Lodgy.
